Project Overview
Revid AI needed a modern, engaging landing page, designed in Figma, to promote their AI video generator and attract content creators and marketers. I focused on creating a visually striking design that clearly communicated the platform’s no-skills-needed approach to video creation, emphasizing its core features and brand identity. My role centered on the overall aesthetic and user experience of the landing page, ensuring it was intuitive and aligned with Revid AI’s innovative vision.
Challenge
Revid AI faced several challenges:
Complex Value Proposition: Explaining AI-driven video creation to non-technical users required clear, accessible visuals and messaging.
Competitive Market: The platform needed to differentiate from tools like Synthesia and InVideo with a bold, futuristic aesthetic.
Engagement: The previous page lacked compelling visuals, limiting user interaction and interest.
Mobile Accessibility: With many visitors on mobile, the page needed seamless responsiveness.
Process
Research & Discovery
Analyzed competitor landing pages (e.g., Descript, Kapwing) to identify effective design strategies for AI video tools.
Conducted research with Tibo (stakeholder) to understand his needs and the needs of content creators based on social media feedback and comments for rapid video production.
UI Design
Crafted a futuristic UI with a dark theme, following Revid's existing Brand and Style Direction.
Used video thumbnails and mockups of generated videos to visually showcase the platform’s capabilities.
UX Design & Copywriting
Designed intuitive user flows to present the platform’s features clearly, ensuring a seamless browsing experience.
Wrote all landing page copy, including headlines, feature descriptions, and supporting text, to make the AI video generator accessible and compelling.
Ensured a clear visual hierarchy and consistent design patterns, aligning copy tone (approachable, persuasive) with the visual aesthetic.
Handoff
Exported design assets and a style guide in Figma for developers, including copywriting guidelines to maintain tone consistency.
Collaborated to ensure responsive implementation and fast load times.
Provided guidance to align the final build with the designed aesthetic, user experience, and copy.
