During my quarter with Sperry’s, I managed social media strategy and content creation across three interconnected entertainment venues. My focus was on aligning the brand voice for each space while boosting community engagement and driving foot traffic.
Key Outcomes:
Increased social engagement: Average post reach grew by more than 30%, with several campaigns—such as themed event promotions and seasonal hours announcements—earning the highest engagement rates of the quarter.
Boosted event visibility: The JAWS 50th Anniversary Dinner & Movie campaign reached over 25,000 local users, with posts generating strong shares, comments, and ticket conversions.
Strengthened cross-venue branding: Successfully distinguished content pillars for the Moviehouse, Dinnerhouse, and Arcadehouse, while still maintaining a cohesive Sperry’s identity.
Audience insights: Analysis of Facebook Insights and Instagram analytics showed which formats (carousel posts, reels, and event reminders) drove the most engagement, informing future posting strategies for management.
In just one quarter, my contributions helped modernize Sperry’s approach to social content and demonstrated how thoughtful creative strategy could increase visibility and engagement across multiple business units.
