Built and launched theaiverse — a social platform for discovering, discussing, and collaborating on AI tools. Think Product Hunt meets LinkedIn for the AI ecosystem.

The Problem:
With thousands of new AI tools launching monthly, developers and businesses have no single place to discover, compare, and discuss them as a community. Existing directories are static lists with no social layer.
The Solution:
A full SaaS platform with dynamic discovery, a community feed, real-time chat, personalised recommendations, and creator dashboards — all built as a production monorepo.

→ AI tool directory with filters, categories, upvotes, and comments
→ Real-time chat and notifications (Socket.io)
→ Personalised feed and recommendation engine (OpenAI API)
→ Admin dashboard with moderation, analytics, and role-based access
→ Google OAuth + JWT authentication

📖Lessons learned & next steps
Balancing features and performance: Early iterations taught me that users value speed and clarity more than a crowded feature set. I focused on optimising load times and navigation.
SEO and discoverability: Implementing server‑side rendering and proper indexing improved search visibility, confirming the value of SEO‑conscious development.
Future enhancements: Next steps include adding creator analytics dashboards, improving personalised recommendations, and building a native mobile app to expand reach.
