Promocipher - Store Your Promo Codes

Promocipher is a secure, zero-knowledge web application designed to help users store and manage their promotional codes with a strong emphasis on privacy and data security.

Core Purpose: The primary goal of the app is to solve the common problem of losing or forgetting discount codes by providing a centralized, highly secure vault for them. It ensures that your sensitive promo code information is kept private and accessible only by you.

Zero-Knowledge Security Model: This is the most critical aspect. The application is built on a "zero-knowledge" architecture, meaning that the server and database have no knowledge of your master password or the actual content of your encrypted data. All encryption and decryption processes occur exclusively on the client-side, within your browser. This ensures that even if the server were compromised, your promo codes would remain unintelligible ciphertext.

User Authentication: Users can sign in securely using OAuth providers (like Google, GitHub, Discord, Slack) via Supabase Auth.

Add New Codes: Encrypt and store new promo codes with associated metadata (store, discount, expiry, notes).

View & Reveal Codes: See your stored codes and reveal the actual promo code on demand, which then auto-hides after a short period for security.

Edit Metadata: Update details like store name, discount, expiry date, and notes for existing codes.

Delete Codes: Remove individual promo codes or even all codes from your vault.

Search & Filter: Easily find codes by store name and filter them by status (active, expiring soon, expired).

Quick Copy: One-click copying of revealed promo codes to your clipboard.

Expiry Tracking: Keep track of expiration dates to never miss a deal.

Import/Export: Backup and restore your encrypted promo codes.
