Linearity was going through two significant changes:
New product launch for Linearity Move
Monetization for the first time
I was brought in to assist the marketing team to increase activation and conversions, and facilitating ad-hoc campaigns through emails, in-app messages, and push notifications
The Solution
Followed the industry best practices while collaborating with all key stakeholders to achieve positive uplifts. Here's the process that I followed.
Step 1: Campaign Purpose
Determine the purpose of campaigns (activation, engagement, conversions) and the target audience
Scope resources or tools required to carry out the communications
Step 2: Campaign Creation
Followed the industry best practices to setup the campaigns. Here's an example for email drafting:
25-35 characters in the subject line
Keep the subject short and actionable
30-40 characters in the preheated
Add whitespace after the preheader
Add emojis and personalization where possible
Test everything on both mobile and laptop
Check that all the links are working including all graphics and CTAs
A/B test where possible
And then what happened?
Linearity reached ~30% of the annual target within the first month of monetization.
