New York-based photographer Zayira approached me to create a portfolio website that would not only showcase her work but amplify it. With a practice that spans both editorial assignments and artistic explorations, she needed a digital presence that could bridge these two worlds.

The objective was to craft a platform that positioned her not just as a skilled editorial photographer, but as a visual artist with a refined and distinctive aesthetic. The site needed to convey both professionalism and creative depth—serving as a portfolio, a statement of her artistic voice, and a space for discovery.

For the website’s homepage, a concise image collection features 16 images that give a sense of the core of Zayira’s aesthetics and work. As the user scrolls down, they transit into the overview section, a structured gallery list where users can delve into each individual project.

To provide more context to Zayira’s recent artistic work, which requires combining text and images, I also designed a dedicated segment of the website that gives users a digital walkthrough of her recent exhibition.

The archive is like a digital playground where users are able to immerse themselves in Zayira’s diverse body of work. It was designed to be like a immersive colorscape.
