Rebranding for Trendex

Overview
Trendex sought a complete rebrand to establish itself as the go-to platform for Web3-powered talent and celebrity engagement.
The objective was to resonate with a younger, tech-savvy audience while standing out in the increasingly competitive Web3 market. To achieve this, we employed a neobrutalist design philosophy to highlight transparency, authenticity, and the raw potential of their platform.
Challenges :
Complex Market Positioning: Balancing the Web3 technicality with the relatability of celebrities and talent.
Visual Consistency: Establishing a cohesive visual language that aligns with the neobrutalist aesthetic without alienating the audience.
Target Audience: Appealing to tech enthusiasts while remaining approachable for talent and fans unfamiliar with Web3 concepts.

Through audience analysis and competitive benchmarking, we identified the following opportunities:
Web3 Adoption Gap: Simplify the complexity of Web3 technologies for new users.
Talent-Centric Design: Amplify the role of talent and celebrities as the face of the platform.
Aesthetic Edge: Leverage Neobrutalism’s bold, unpolished look to create a visual identity that’s fresh and authentic.

Design Solution

Logo :

A bold, brutal, raw logomark that embodies decentralization and the codes of the web3 market, while keeping the idea of the original one.
The bold, sans-serif type conveys strength and confidence, aligning with Trendex’s innovative leadership in Web3.
The clean, geometric forms reflect the precision and modernity associated with decentralized technologies.
Gradient Arrow:
The upward arrow integrated into the "N" symbolizes growth, ambition, and forward-thinking—core values of Web3 and Trendex's vision.
The gradient from green to purple emphasizes dynamic energy and innovation while nodding to the aurora-like theme of the background.

Color theme:

Green (#27FF89): Represents market growth, positivity, and success. It aligns with the universal association of green in financial contexts as "up" or "bullish."
Red (#FF4E28): Signifies market decline, caution, or "bearish" trends. The vibrant shade of red evokes urgency and grabs attention.
Light Purple (#EEA1FF): Adds a playful and modern touch, likely tied to Web3’s creative and innovative culture.
Yellow (#F1FF51): A bold, energetic color that conveys optimism and excitement, potentially symbolizing opportunities.
Peach (#FFAD9B): A softer accent that humanizes the palette, adding warmth to balance the intensity of red and green.

Why This Works for Web3

Market Movement Communication:
Green and red make it immediately intuitive for users to interpret market trends, a critical aspect of platforms dealing with digital assets or celebrity value fluctuations.
Dynamic Visuals:
The additional colors (purple, yellow, peach) ensure the palette remains engaging and versatile, fitting the futuristic, tech-forward brand identity.
Neobrutalistic Foundation:
The bold, flat application of these colors aligns with neobrutalist principles. It avoids gradients (except for specific logos) and relies on contrast and blocky layouts for emphasis.

Strategic Use

Green and Red: Should dominate areas focused on performance metrics, market trends, or financial insights.
Secondary Colors: Can highlight user profiles, interactive elements, or promotional content, adding a friendly and creative tone.
