CitrusBits is a mobile app development agency that designs and develops impactful mobile apps and responsive mobile content for businesses of all types. Having developed critical mobile apps for clients including DuPont, J&J, Burger King, Quiksilver, Symantec, and Sotheby’s, CitrusBits is trusted by movers and shakers across all major industries. People at CitrusBits are passionate about leveraging mobile technology – including iOS, Android, artificial intelligence, augmented/virtual reality, blockchain, and The Internet of Things (IoT) – to help businesses disrupt entire industries and reach their loftiest goals.

I was initially responsible for managing CitrusBits' social presence and building brand awareness, doing market research & monthly website and social media audits, helping out in developing case studies, and preparing marketing collateral, devising social media marketing and content marketing plans. Just a few months in and I was already responsible for developing digital marketing strategies for clients, running client meetings, running nurture campaigns, paid social media campaigns, managing events, and collaborating with different teams on diverse projects, plus managing the marketing channels, including the monthly email newsletter.

On a casual Friday, you'd find me busy creating video content for the company's Instagram page for the Pakistan team (CitrusBits Pk). Also collaborated with the design and development teams on CitrusBits' rebranding and website revamp project.

Helped establish CitrusBits as a people-centric digital agency that focuses not only on designing and developing innovative solutions but also takes pride in and cherishes their talented team.

The brand awareness campaign started with an audit of the initial website and social media pages that focused mainly on CitrusBits' services only. And, after having numerous brand development sessions with the team, we created a plan on how to make our team feel valued and then build the brand from inside out. We used LinkedIn as our primary channel to promote our work culture, awards and honours, and projects delivered by our amazing team.

Within a year, we grew - not only on LinkedIn (by more than 1,300%), but also as a team! CitrusBits is still busy growing and establishing itself as a market leader in tech and has won numerous awards and honours over the course of last two years which just proves how a bit of team appreciation and recognition can go a long way.

Following the initiation of the internal branding process, the CitrusBits team decided to go for a rebrand and revamping the website and the overall feel of social media channels. The website was taken as an internal project and discovery sessions were held to connect and collaborate with design, development, and the marketing team to come up with a product that not only looks good but also speaks to our audience.​

Following the success of our internal branding campaign and the end of work-from-home restrictions, the CitrusBits team in Pakistan expanded which meant ensuring a bigger place, better perks, and a better environment for the team to not only encourage them to have fun at work but also to make them feel valued. Hence the campaign fused into a new local campaign "Apun ka Office" that was specifically targeted to attract and retain talent, and build brand awareness in Pakistan.

Several workshops, and events such as business communications and ethics workshop, and indoor concerts, were also organised under this campaign which proved to be immensely successful in attracting new talent as well as retaining the old!
