A real-time 3D configurator for Leet Design's acoustic cabins, live on their website. Starting from the client's 3D files (OBJ / FBX), I built everything in Spline: hyperrealistic materials, every configurable state and the animations between states. I did not create the original 3D models.
Key figures
2 product lines in the configurator: L'Arche and BLOC.
9 cabin formats across the range (L'Arche: 5, BLOC: 4).
30 interior fabric colours (Gabriel range).
Steel and wood finishes (natural, black, honey).
My role
3D import: the client's OBJ / FBX files brought into Spline and prepared for the web.
Materials: all materials recreated, with special care for the glass, metal, wood and acoustic fabric, aiming for hyperrealism.
States and variables: Spline variables drive every configurable option (model, steel, fabric, wood).
Animations between states, so each change of option is smooth.
Update: the client later asked to add new elements and colours, integrated into the existing configurator.
Configuration interface on the product page and web optimisation of the scenes.
Stack
Spline: materials, states, variables, animations and web export.
3D web optimisation: lighter scenes for fast loading on the product pages.
