An angel fund that had raised over £80 million for 240+ early-stage companies, wearing a brand that showed none of it. We rebuilt the identity and the site around the thing that actually makes PV work: the people in its network.

Brief — An angel fund whose site read older than its track record.

Portfolio Ventures had raised over £80 million for 240+ early-stage companies and built a network of more than 2,000 investors. The site looked like a fund from twenty years earlier.
We started with interviews with the team, a sweep of comparable funds, and a hard look at what actually makes a founder or an investor join a network like this one.
The identity came out of PV's own founder stories. People-first and open, a simple recognisable mark, navy for reliability with brighter accents, and custom icons for support and community.

Outcome — One brand across the site, the decks and everything after.

The Webflow site runs separate routes for founders and for investors, mobile and accessible throughout, with the investor network and the real outcomes doing the arguing.
The investor presentations got the same treatment, plus a short brand guide so the site, the decks and everything after them stay in one voice.
Navy for reliability, brighter accents for the ambition, and the track record in front of both audiences on the first screen. Three months in: site engagement +31%, new investor applications +44%.
