The Process:
We began by discussing the vision and brand identity. The mission was to migrate content whilst adding new interactive 3D elements. Although it was not a full redesign, the goal was to enhance user engagement and modernise the experience without disrupting the existing brand aesthetics.
To achieve this, we carefully mapped out the content migration strategy, ensuring that all legacy assets were preserved while optimising them for better performance. The interactive 3D components were designed to seamlessly integrate with the existing layout, providing an immersive touch without overwhelming the core functionality.
Performance was a key consideration, especially given the increased complexity of interactive elements. I implemented efficient loading strategies, including lazy loading and asset optimisation, to maintain fast response times. Additionally, I ensured that the new components were fully responsive and accessible, creating a smooth experience across devices.
