Kicking off my next project. And this one is personal. Very personal. Meet "The Zaiqist Kitchen" a food delivery and restaurant app built for people who genuinely care about food.

My wife is opening her own restaurant, and before we build the restaurant space, we’re building the experience.

What makes this project different?

We’re not designers guessing what users want.

We are the users.

My wife and I have explored restaurants across Lahore - Different cuisines, Price points, Areas, and Experiences. We’ve experienced what makes a food app feel easy? What builds trust? And what makes you want to close an app when you’re hungry at 11 PM.

So for The Zaiqist, we’re turning those real experiences into real design decisions.

From a warm, dark splash screen that feels like entering a restaurant…

To a login screen with a hero burger that makes you hungry before you even sign in.

Simple. Warm. Hungry.

This is Day One.

P.S. Great products start with deeply understanding the problem. We didn’t just research The Zaiqist.
