Nigeria carries the world's highest burden of sickle cell disease, yet warriors and their caregivers have little to no dedicated support between hospital visits — leaving them trapped in a reactive cycle of unmanaged symptoms, missed medications, and preventable crises.

As the product designer on this project, I set out to solve this by designing Cello — a mobile health companion that gives sickle cell warriors the tools to track symptoms, manage medications, access emergency support, and receive culturally relevant health education, all in one trusted, easy-to-use app.
