The Problem
Most schools lack an effective way to notify parents when their child’s school bus will arrive. This results in:
Parental Uncertainty – Parents are left guessing about arrival times, leading to unnecessary waiting or missed pickups.
Inefficient Communication – Schools rely on phone calls or honking, which is disruptive and unreliable.
Resource Mismanagement – Without proper scheduling, schools struggle to optimize bus usage, leading to inefficiencies in transportation costs and time.
Bus Orbit aims to solve these issues by providing a centralized platform for school bus management and real-time tracking.

I designed an app that focused on simplicity and functionality, focusing on key features for the app, including:

Allow schools to plan, adjust, and optimize bus routes based on student locations and traffic conditions.
Parent Notifications & Alerts
Send automatic updates to parents regarding bus status changes, delays, or arrivals to eliminate uncertainty and reduces manual inquiries to school staff
