Working with a content agency, this client wanted a short-form SEO article to complement the launch of their Roberta Schilling Collection. They requested a professional, luxury-style tone and quality writing that would appeal to an audience with more than one home and a median income above $750,000 in South Florida.

As with all my creative content writing, the process is simple but effective...

First, I am presented with an idea, a goal, and chosen keywords.

Next, I read through this client's mission statement, current blog, and social media content. My focus is on getting to know the organization from the bottom up--including its current reach + audience. I get to work on an outline. Then I perform a thorough scrub of relevant research and push the gas pedal (keyboard keys, of course), and start crafting content that is both compelling and appealing to the target audience. Of course, I include SEO keywords and internal linking in a natural, conversational way--never in a forced way.

Last, I run my professional editor's eyes over the article before submitting it to the client. If the article is accepted, then all is well. If edits are requested, I make them ASAP.

This article was a crucial step in increasing this client's visibility. The short-form SEO content kept the company ranking well, and the quality of the content captured readers. I presented mundane history into attractive and bite-sized pieces of information while relaying why Roberta Schilling is the perfect addition to any interior design project.
