Problem Statement: the IT distribution Company has requested an upgrade for their B2B personal account which is used by the Company members to place large wholesale orders for IT equipment.
Outcome: to create an interactive prototype of the personal account based upon the requirements of the users. The research part was provided by my colleagues. The list of features that had to be designed:
1) Onboarding/registration
2) Main dashboard
3) Account access settings
4) Favorites
5) Notifications
6) Lists
Target audience:
Employees of the Company

Project Flow

Discovery (generated ideas, analyzed target audience)
Analysis (analyzed competitors in a separate Miro board, Job Stories, formulated hypotheses)
Ideation (functional references, insights, designed user flow for the main scenario)
Prototyping (hi-fi prototypes in Figma, interactive prototype, 2 iterations of testing)

2 iterations of prototyping with proposals for further development;
After 2nd iteration the personal account page was transformed into an editable dashboard: user testing showed that employees like to have all the information visible and available at a click and they also want to be able to change the order and amount of displayed tabs (like Favorites, Orders, etc.)
The design of the personal account was conceptually based on the client’s website redesign that the client had previously adopted.
