Compani is a cozy cafe for people and their pets who want to relax together. Pets get their own menu with things like a pupaccino or meowffins and comfy seating, because this cafe isn't just pet-friendly, it's pet-first.

The logo for Compani was designed to embody warmth, companionship, and playfulness. The name itself is derived from the word “companion”, highlighting the bond between pets and their humans. The letter C is adorned with playful pet ears to immediately convey a pet-first approach, while the clean and rounded typography reflects friendliness and approachability. The supporting illustrations add a cozy, lighthearted touch that reinforces the brand’s inviting and community-driven spirit.

The goal was to create a brand identity that feels warm, inviting, and community-driven while still being playful enough to highlight the bond between people and their pets.

I began by researching keywords like cozy, feel-good, inviting, and community, which helped guide the creative direction. Sketches explored different ways of combining pets and café culture in subtle ways, eventually leading to a clean typeface with pet-inspired details that felt approachable yet professional.

From there, the brand was expanded into a full visual system—illustrations, loyalty card designs, and supporting graphics—all built to feel consistent and adaptable across touchpoints.
