Project Title:

Edustipend (edustipend.org) – Providing Resources and Stipends to Support Learning.

Project Description:

I contributed to the development of Edustipend, an education-focused platform dedicated to providing learning resource stipends to under-resourced Nigerians. The platform ensures learners have access to essential tools such as laptops, data subscriptions, and online course fees. Support is offered through User Applications, an Ambassador Program, and the Support-a-Learner initiative - an effort to raise funds for those in need of educational resources.
In this role, I focused on transforming UI/UX designs into interactive, accessible, and responsive digital experiences using modern front-end technologies.

What I Delivered:

Developed and deployed a fully responsive front end using React.js and Vanilla CSS, prioritizing performance and user experience across devices.
Contributed to building a component library system with Storybook, ensuring consistency and reusability across the application.
Wrote unit tests to maintain code quality and ensure functionality, following the team’s defined software development practices.
Led the front-end development of the Ambassador Program page, which showcases current ambassadors and their impact, while seamlessly integrating a Google Form to facilitate new applicant submissions.

Impacts:

User Experience Delivered Results: User Interfaces enabled 1,100+ donors and 600+ beneficiaries to easily navigate the platform, apply for support, and contribute to educational causes.
Scalability & Accessibility: The platform successfully reached users across all 36 states in Nigeria, demonstrating that the frontend performed reliably across diverse devices, internet speeds, and user contexts.
Campaign Visibility & Engagement: User Interfaces directly supported the Support-a-Learner campaign, which raised ₦5.36M from 1,194 donors.

Tech Stack:

React.js, Vanilla CSS, Redux, Node.js, REST APIs, Git, Flutterwave

Result:

The platform didn’t just look good, it inspired real-world action.
