I'm a Product & UI/UX Designer by profession, but i fell in love with design a while before that. I was 15, and was enthralled with the idea of creating beautiful things straight from my mind, things that didn't formerly 'exist' before i made them. It was amazing.
So over the course of last year, i dove in and out of design work just for how it made me feel, making things. I'm a maker. I couldn't get away from it.

Cover Art & Visual Direction
Jan 17th - Jan 21st
A small artist came to me with new (really good) music he was working on, and wanted cover art that fit the essence of the track. I had never made cover art for music that didn't exist yet before, the challenge was interesting, so I said yes.
The project took four days from concept ideation to delivery.
Branding & Marketing campaign
April 18th - May 15th
This was a largest project I had ever worked on, with over 15 members on the event's organization team overseeing various areas of expertise. I designed the entire marketing campaign in a three phase release schedule, we, to our credit, landed sponsors like Coca-Cola and Red Bull.
Posters for the well-known creatives to speak at the event:
The first phase was these teaser posters, counting down the weeks and days till the event.
July 18th - August 8th
We the organizers of the successful first event, led by @yafinyourface on twitter, the team came together for round two. This time, Show + Tell, a work showcase for creatives of different disciplines.
I came up with, and designed posters for the event's main disciplines: visual artists, stylists, videographers, writers, and photographers. It took cycles upon cycles of whittling down rough, vague ideas into distinct 'personalities' for the posters.
I did the same for the event's title poster, and subsequent marketing material anticipating the big day.
Physical Product Design
August 12 - August 22
A client I'd worked with before reached out again for physical souvenir cards they wanted guests to have as they sat and talked.
Half of the guests would receive 'nepo baby' cards, and the other half, the infamous 'lapo baby' ones. It was to add a touch of mischief to an otherwise wholly serious section of this networking event.
Working to figure out colors, illustrations and subconscious pointers for both designs, I really enjoyed.
The QR codes are functional and redirect to the brand's Instagram account.
It didn't end up being used, but I smile when I come across it in my gallery.
Party, DJ performance posters
Dec 16 - Dec 21
@idktitto on Instagram, a DJ, was performing at a rave for afro-house and DnB music enthusiasts. Her team reached out for a teaser, and title posters in (very!) different visual aesthetics. we went back and forth for days refining with a Pinterest board they curated for visual direction, and it went great.

Looking ahead
I don’t know what 2026 holds, but if it’s larger and wilder things than 2025, I’m ready.
To quote the talented Obasola Akintola;
"My motto for next year? Keep showing.
Because the work speaks. The impact speaks.
And I’m just getting started."
Thank you for reading this.
