Karla is an LA-based event producer and community builder who creates world-class experiences that bring people together around the transformative power of culture. Her work is heavily-guided by her identity as a first generation Syrian-American which gives her a unique insight to develop creative careers in the MENA region.

Sitting at the intersection of event production, community building, and MENA culture, Karla's brand melds playful simplicity with a rich archive of Arabic graphic design. Inspired by her event planning expertise, Karla's visual imagery revolves around event ticket stubs accented with classical Syrian prints and colors. Arabic calligraphy serves as the inspiration for both the typography and visual assets, stretched into flowing ribbons that accentuate the fun of Karla's events.
