At UniQ Records, music is a celebration of diversity and unity. With the celebration of Pride Month, my task as the UI/UX Designer was to redesign the landing page to be more inclusive and unique while incorporating design elements that shows support for diversity.

A music label that celebrates diversity, creativity, and inclusivity. With a wide range of talented artists, the label aims to reflect these values online, especially during Pride Month.
The current landing page needed an update to better represent the brand identity and enhance user experience. My goal was to redesign the landing page to showcases our artists and their music while celebrating inclusion and diversity.

Research Goals & Methods
To redesign a landing page that truly reflects diversity and inclusion while celebrating Pride Month, I conducted thorough research. My goal was to understand the preferences of our audience and identify features that would enhance user experience. Here’s how I approached my research:

Determine the important features and content elements that should be included in the landing page.
Focus on elements that highlight diversity and inclusion, especially during Pride Month.
Create a seamless and enjoyable experience for all visitors.
Findings:
Our audience is diverse, with a wide range of musical tastes and interests, and there is a high level of interest in content that celebrates LGBTQ+ artists and events, especially during Pride Month.
Visual and interactive content, such as colors, videos, and vibrant imagery, significantly enhance user engagement and resonate strongly with our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Problem Statement
UniQ Records' existing landing page lacked the inclusive elements needed to reflect the label's support to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, especially during Pride Month. The site needed a redesign to promote a sense of community, diversity and inclusion
Our Audience
Fans of various music genres looking to discover new artists and tracks.
Individuals interested in supporting and celebrating LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month.
The label existing fans and individuals, mostly young adults (18-45), who want to stay updated on the latest releases and interested in attending concerts, festivals, and other music-related events.
Solutions
Created dedicated sections to highlight LGBTQ+ and showcase featured related music contents that celebrate the diverse identities and backgrounds of our artists.
Introduced visuals, such as images and colors that is represented in the Pride flag to show inclusivity.
Created access to music streaming links, artist profiles, and latest releases from the landing page, also included call-to-action buttons for quick navigation to other contents.

This project reminded me about the significance of creating digital experiences that are not only visually appealing but also deeply resonate with the values and needs of diverse community and audience by focusing on inclusivity, engagement, and user-centric design.
