Published in Proc. 15th Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP), ACM, Bengaluru, India, Dec. 2024.
In this paper, we delve into how deep learning and intelligent compression frameworks can revolutionize seismic image analytics.
By enhancing fault line detection and salt trace analysis, our proposed solution achieves:
✔️ Higher PSNR and SSIM
✔️ Lower bits per pixel,
ensuring efficient transmission under bandwidth constraints. This work not only pushes the boundaries of data compression and computer vision but also has a significant impact on real-world applications in geophysics and resource exploration.
