Team Messaging Mobile App

A messaging app built for creative teams who move fast. The Chats screen opens with a story row of teammates, live "Typing..." indicators, and unread badges, so users know who needs a reply before they even tap in.Each conversation preview shows the latest message, timestamp, and unread count in a clean, scannable list. Inside a chat, messages are grouped by "Yesterday" and "Today", with soft bubbles, clear online status, and a simple input bar that keeps the focus on the conversation.

Designed in both light and dark mode, with a fresh green accent for key actions and soft lavender tones for a calm, friendly feel.

Creative teams talk all day, but their conversations are scattered. Client feedback lives in email, quick updates in personal chat apps, and project discussions in tools that feel built for desktops, not phones.

Important messages get buried, voice notes get lost, and it's hard to separate personal chats from team channels. Most messaging apps either feel too casual for work or too heavy and corporate for small, fast-moving teams. The goal was a mobile chat experience that feels as easy as a personal messenger, but organized enough for real teamwork.

Positioning & Narrative: We positioned the app as a friendly workspace in your pocket, not just another chat app. The experience is built around three pillars: Connect, Organize, and Respond. Instead of scrolling through one long inbox, users can filter conversations, jump into channels, and reply to what matters first.

Personal Home Screen: A warm "Good Afternoon, Jane" greeting welcomes users, followed by quick filters (All, Unread, Groups, Favorite, Others) to sort conversations in one tap.

Voice Message Card: Direct messages support voice notes with a visual waveform, duration, and live typing status, making quick updates feel natural.

Stories & Team Row: A horizontal avatar row lets users see teammates' stories and start a conversation instantly.

Channels: Topic-based channels like Home, Works, and Game keep team discussions organized, each with clear unread counts.

Smart Chat List: Every preview shows the sender, latest message, time, and unread badge, with a floating "New Chat" button always within reach.

Conversation View: Clean message bubbles, date separators, and online status make long threads easy to follow, while the input bar stays simple and distraction-free.

Light & Dark Mode: Both themes share the same component system, with rounded cards, soft contrast, and consistent spacing for comfortable use day and night.
