Challenges

The project aimed to:
• Develop a cohesive and visually striking brand identity for a music festival set in the historic Schwerin’s Castle.
• Design engaging social media content to promote the festival and drive ticket sales.
• Create functional and visually appealing event materials, including tickets, maps, and Instagram stories.
• Capture the essence of the festival’s unique location and atmosphere in all design elements.

Solutions

As part of my final project, I delivered a complete suite of designs that encapsulated the festival’s spirit and provided a seamless user experience:
Brand Identity: Crafted a distinctive and memorable brand identity that reflected the festival’s grandeur and the castle’s historic charm. This included a logo, color palette, and typography that resonated with the target audience and highlighted the festival’s unique setting.
Social Media Posts: Designed engaging social media posts for Instagram. These visuals were tailored to capture the excitement of the festival and encourage audience interaction and ticket purchases.
Ticket Design: Created eye-catching and functional ticket designs that incorporated the festival’s branding elements. The tickets featured unique artwork that enhanced the event’s appeal and provided an elegant touch to the attendee experience.
Maps: Developed detailed and user-friendly maps of the festival grounds, ensuring that attendees could easily navigate the venue. The maps were designed to be both informative and visually appealing, with clear indications of key locations such as stages, food stalls, and amenities.
Instagram Stories: Designed dynamic Instagram stories to build anticipation and engagement leading up to the festival. These stories featured countdowns, behind-the-scenes content, and artist highlights to keep the audience excited and informed.
Billboards: Designed billboards and physical displays to announce the festival.
Merchandising: Designed merchandising for the festival attendees.

Conclusion

This final project at the University of Montevideo showcased my skills in creating a comprehensive and visually engaging festival experience. By developing a strong brand identity and effective promotional materials, I successfully brought the music festival at Schwerin’s Castle to life, demonstrating my capability to deliver impactful design solutions in a real-world context.
