BioMed Accelerator invests in biomedical and life sciences companies. The existing digital presence did not reflect the scale or credibility of the firm's activity, and that gap costs money in first impressions long before anyone mentions it.
Scope. Five pages: Home, Strategy, About, Portfolio, News, with Contact integrated as a persistent component. Each page answers one question cleanly, and the navigation moves a visitor from vision to investment focus to portfolio without making them hunt for what they came for.
The portfolio page was the critical deliverable. In life sciences investment, credibility is the product, and the portfolio is where credibility is either demonstrated or lost. I designed it around the information density and browsability of the strongest VC portfolio pages: filterable, scannable, and structured so each company surfaces clearly without visual noise.
Visual system. Clean and minimal throughout. Professional typography, controlled use of growth and scale motifs, and nothing decorative that does not earn its place. The design communicates expertise and stability before a visitor processes a line of copy, which is the entire job on a site like this.
Practical delivery. A WordPress CMS was configured alongside the design so non-technical staff can add portfolio entries and news without a developer. Keeping the site current should not carry a recurring development cost.
BioMed Accelerator now has a presence that matches the seriousness of the firm, and a portfolio page its invested companies are worth pointing at.
Timeline: 4 weeks. Year: 2026. I led UX, UI, and the CMS structure.
