Application to assist farmers in using their farm products efficiently
Problem statement:
Farm products such as sprays, come with a lot of manuals and documents that are too arduous for the farmers to read and hence this leads to inefficient or wrong usage of these products, ultimately affecting the crops for the farmers.
Solution:
A hybrid application, which the farmer can use to get information about the correct usage of the products based on his relevant crops and farm sizes.
Target audience:
Farmers who wish to effectively use their products so that they can get the best yield from their field and crops.
Application functionality
Register and Login
Select their farm size, product, and crop they cultivate
Get information about the optimum weather conditions to spray their product
Get information about protective equipment to be used while spraying the product
Calculate the amount of dose of the product that should go into the farm
Experiment to test at what price farmers would be willing to take additional premium features (made 4 groups of diff pricing within the app and testes in the market)
