Course Launch Funnel Integration (Kajabi & KIT)

A course creator needed a high-converting email funnel to sell their new Kajabi course. They wanted to collect leads through a free webinar and then nurture them into paying students. They had already their whole list for 5+ years on KIT (Convertkit) so they wanted to keep everything there and connect it to Kajabi.

My Role

Designed the entire email automation in KIT
Embedded a KIT form directly on Kajabi landing pages
Wrote all nurture + sales email copy
Used KIT’s extended automation options to segment audiences seamlessly between nurture and sales sequences

Process

Created a webinar registration form in KIT and embedded it directly on the Kajabi registration page.
Built a 4-part nurture sequence in KIT to warm up leads with authority-building content before the webinar.
Leveraged extended automation rules in KIT to:
Tag registrants based on actions (clicked link, attended live, watched replay, etc.)
Seamlessly move leads between nurture and sales sequences depending on engagement
Automatically skip sales emails for buyers (to avoid fatigue)
Wrote and scheduled a 5-part sales sequence that triggered after the webinar replay was sent.
Synced Kajabi’s course access emails with KIT automations for a consistent customer journey.

Advanced segmentation + tagging setup using KIT automations

Results

42% open rate across the funnel
17% conversion from registrants to buyers
