My collaboration with the studio is visible on their Instagram page (@homesweethometorino), which started on November 2, 2020, and concluded on February 28, 2021. The internship, initially planned with a mixed format, predominantly took place remotely due to the pandemic. Throughout the four months of the internship, I worked independently, engaging in daily communication with my supervisor and adapting my style and ideas to align with the studio's vision and brand identity.

Feed

I focused on enhancing the use of aqua green with its bluish undertones, showcasing its prominent application in home staging projects. I carefully selected photographs from the provided portfolio that best represented the interior design style offered by HomeSweetHome.

Trend of the month

For the creation of the carousels, I was often given creative freedom, and my supervisor expressed satisfaction with my work. She provided me with more detailed and professional information about the topics to be covered, such as wallpaper. I experimented with different photo formats to accompany the central carousel in the three-row layout, aiming to offer variety while still highlighting the content of the section.

Makeovers

Afterward, we dedicated space on the profile to showcase the numerous renovations undertaken by the studio, both for public and private clients. We highlighted the skills of the two architects in utilizing challenging or limited spaces. In the case of commercial venues, such as the pastry shop, we engaged in small collaborations with their Instagram profiles to enhance mutual visibility through posts and story tags. This was done as the studio aimed to foster greater engagement with the residents of Turin and its surrounding areas.

Pro Tips

In the following weeks, the carousels featured collections of tips on renovating, with a focus on various areas of private homes such as kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms. Since these topics had broader appeal, I concentrated on using relevant hashtags to reach a wider target audience while still maintaining an Italian context. I particularly highlighted the collaboration between the studio and a well-known kitchen furnishing brand like Stosa Cucine in the carousel dedicated to the "dream kitchen" theme.

Highlights

The highlighted stories were organized to ensure that visitors to the studio's Instagram page could easily see practical examples of their interior designing and home staging work without having to search extensively through the feed. They were divided into sections such as "Inspiration," "Virtual Staging," "Interior Designing," "About Us," and "Home Staging."

Advent Calendar

During the month of December, I launched an initiative to engage followers more actively and seek new collaborations and visibility. I created an advent calendar where every day in the Instagram stories, I shared home decor ideas or household accessories, along with information on where to find the featured products. The price ranges varied, and I often included small, family-run businesses operating in the Turin area. This initiative resulted in a significant increase in new followers and overall page interactions.
