RentTools — Rental Calendars and Property Management

RentTools is my open-source web application for managing short-term rental properties. It brings reservations, guest information, cleaning tasks and calendar synchronization into one place for hosts who manage listings across booking platforms.

The calendar workflow accepts iCal feeds from services such as Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo, and publishes feeds containing other platforms' bookings, manual blocks and cleaning buffers. A multi-property dashboard provides separate access for owners, managers and cleaners, alongside guest-message templates and guest search.

Built with Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and Prisma with SQLite/libSQL. This own-product project demonstrates booking workflows, scoped access and integration with existing calendar formats. Synchronization follows the participating platforms' polling intervals.
