In 2021 after the pandemic and too much gloom, Canva wanted to launch a new design challenge to involve its community in making something beautiful. Canva contracted me to create the original billboard graphic to launch this challenge.
Concepts
We went through a series of explorations and iterations to create a graphic that was fun, colorful, positive, and inclusive. After almost 2 years of lockdown, I wanted to design around the theme of spending time together in nature, as you can see from a few of the versions below.
The final design features trendy odd bodies in a psychedelic landscape of colors and shapes. It's a celebration of togetherness and spending time with loved ones in nature. You can see the moving ad in NYC, below.
