African Valuables Collective (AVC) is a dynamic and innovative platform tailored to support artists across Africa. AVC provides a comprehensive suite of tools for artists to create and sell custom merchandise, distribute music and exclusive content, and manage event bookings and performances. By connecting artists with event spaces and fans, AVC streamlines the entire creative process from inception to sale, operating primarily online through a web and mobile platform.

Process & Goals

The African Valuables Collective (AVC) is seeking to create a distinctive new brand identity with a merchandise that aligns with its new mission of empowering African artists and revolutionising the way they connect with their audiences and manage their creative endeavours. The project involves designing a brand new logo, visual assets, range of products, including apparel, and promotional materials, that reflect AVC’s vibrant and modern identity.

I created brand new logo that not only align with the brand’s new vision but also presents a modern and up-to-date image that connects with a wider audience, enhancing the overall brand identity and fostering a stronger community of artists, organisers, and fans. The visual concept of the new logo emphasises different aspects of AVC’s brand identity, from cultural heritage and creativity to community and modern technology. To reflect AVC’s mission of empowering African artists and fostering a vibrant community, the merchandise designed was stylish and meaningful. Posters were be visually striking and convey the comprehensive suite of tools provided by AVC. They highlight the key services, appeal to the target audience of artists, event organisers, and fans, and use a modern, vibrant design that aligns with AVC's brand identity.
