Website Design for DIY Custom Closet

DIY Custom Closet is a software-led home-improvement and e-commerce experience that helps customers design a custom closet online.

I designed the website in Base44 using Claude. The design will later be formally built on another platform by a development team.

Customers can use DIY Custom Closet’s software to design their closet around their own measurements. They can explore choices such as colors and hardware, then build out a custom configuration at no cost.

Once a customer has finished their design, they can purchase the custom closet parts for delivery to their home. The order includes an installation manual and is designed to be ready for assembly.

My goal was to design the landing page as well as the general website for clients to feel confident in using their software.

The website needed to feel clean, beautiful, and professional while establishing credibility for customers making a considered home-improvement purchase. It also needed to help visitors understand the journey from designing a closet online to receiving the parts needed to assemble it at home.

I led the website design, using Claude and Base44 to shape the visual direction and create the site experience.

The current site is the Base44 design stage. A separate development team will formally build it on another platform.

Overall this was a very satisfactory and fun projects and I'm super glad I got to help them bringing this vision to life!
