TagAlong Memories - Mobile App

TagAlong was an early-phase startup aiming to develop a mobile app that connects like-minded people for various activities. They required an insightful UX strategy to validate their concept and fine-tune their design through rigorous user testing.

The challenge was to ascertain the actual need for such an app and to refine its design to offer an engaging, intuitive, and satisfying user experience.

As the leading UX Designer, I was actively involved in all phases of the project. My responsibilities included:

User Research: Conducting in-depth interviews and surveys to validate the need for the app.

Wireframing & Prototyping: Utilizing tools like Figma to design interactive prototypes, wireframes, and mockups aligned with user needs and brand identity.

Usability Testing: Performing rigorous testing to refine the design, focusing on ease of navigation and task completion.

Collaboration with Development Team: Ensuring that the design adheres to UI/UX best practices during the development phase.

The user-centered approach guided the entire project, resulting in the validation of the app concept through extensive user feedback. The final design achieved the goals of boosting user engagement and effectively meeting the needs of the target audience.

This project at TagAlong was a significant learning experience, emphasizing the value of comprehensive user research and collaboration across diverse teams. Being a part of all phases of the development allowed me to see the direct impact of research and iterative design on the final product. It reinforced my belief in the vital role of user-centered design in shaping successful digital products.
