Zilzie Wines is an Australian winery located in the Murray Darling region of Victoria, Australia. The winery has a rich history that dates back to 2000 when the Zilzie Estate was established. Over the years, Zilzie Wines has gained recognition for its commitment to producing high-quality wines that capture the essence of the Australian terroir.

The goal 💡

Develop a new label design for Bulloak wine varieties. Bulloak needed a fresh design steeped in the history of the tree with the same name. (Bull oak is a common name for a number of species of Australian trees). Required were a label design for Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Merlot and Rosé varietals.

The result ✅

Three iconic designs, in a cut-out label style. This was an intentional decision so the buyer could experience the Bulloak tree design with all varietals colour profiles showing through. It provided for a strong cohesive design system across all three varietals.
