Client Overview:

Genesis CustDecor is a family-owned business dedicated to delivering unique, high-quality print-on-demand dresses for women. With a strong focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, Genesis CustDecor sought to establish a cohesive brand identity, launch an eCommerce platform on Shopify, and create a compelling online presence through social media. The goal was to capture the essence of their bespoke offerings while enhancing their visibility and sales.

Design and Development Process

1. Logo Design:

Objective: To create a logo that embodies the elegance, creativity, and bespoke nature of Genesis CustDecor's products.
Process: I began with a discovery session to understand the brand’s values, target audience, and aesthetic preferences. Multiple logo concepts were developed, focusing on clean lines, a modern yet timeless style, and a color palette that resonates with the fashion industry. After several rounds of revisions and client feedback, the final logo was selected—a sleek, elegant design that conveys the uniqueness and quality of the brand.

2. Apparel Design:

Objective: To design a collection of dresses that are visually stunning, comfortable, and reflective of the brand’s dedication to uniqueness.
Process: I collaborated closely with the Genesis CustDecor team to understand their vision for the apparel line. The designs focused on creating patterns and prints that stand out, with each dress offering a one-of-a-kind look. I ensured that the designs were not only aesthetically pleasing but also practical, considering factors like fabric choice, fit, and customer comfort.

3. eCommerce Website Design Using Shopify:

Objective: To develop a user-friendly, visually engaging online store that highlights the uniqueness of Genesis CustDecor's dresses and facilitates a seamless shopping experience.
Process: Using Shopify, I built a custom eCommerce website that aligns with the brand’s aesthetic. The homepage features high-quality images and a streamlined navigation menu that guides users through the product offerings. Each product page was designed to showcase the dresses with detailed descriptions, multiple images, and customer reviews. The checkout process was optimized for simplicity and security, with multiple payment options and a mobile-responsive design to ensure a smooth experience across all devices.

4. Social Media Posts and Strategy:

Objective: To create a social media presence that drives engagement, builds brand loyalty, and increases sales.
Process: I developed a social media strategy focused on Instagram and Facebook, platforms where visual content thrives and fashion enthusiasts congregate. The content plan included a mix of product showcases, behind-the-scenes looks at the design process, customer testimonials, and lifestyle imagery. Posts were designed to be visually consistent with the brand’s aesthetic, using the same color palette and style as the website and logo. Engagement tactics such as interactive polls, giveaways, and collaborations with influencers were implemented to increase visibility and attract new followers.
