The Problem

Rolling Square is a Swiss consumer tech DTC brand that was leaving money on the table across every channel. When I audited their setup, I found:
Wrong attribution model — decisions were being made on bad data
No audience exclusions — retargeting was cannibalizing prospecting budget
One ad per ad set — zero creative testing, the algorithm had nothing to optimize
No video ads — in a category where product demos drive conversion
Weak remarketing — people who visited the site were getting generic follow-ups instead of targeted sequences
They weren't just underperforming on one channel. The entire growth stack needed rebuilding.

What I Did

Full-Stack Rebuild: Facebook + Google + CRO

Facebook Ads
Restructured from single-ad ad sets to proper testing frameworks
Introduced video creatives (product demos, UGC, lifestyle) — Rolling Square's products are tactile tech accessories that people need to SEE working
Built proper audience exclusion funnels: prospecting → engagement → website visitors → purchasers
Implemented broad targeting + Conversions API tracking for clean signal
Google Ads
Restructured the entire account
Doubled Google Ads spend while maintaining 3x ROAS
Fixed attribution overlap between Google and Facebook
CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
Redesigned product pages for clearer value propositions
Optimized checkout flow to reduce cart abandonment
Result: 62% conversion lift on the website

The Speed Bump (Month 4)

Facebook's pixel started over-reporting conversions. Instead of making decisions on inflated data, I caught it early, forced a 2-week downscale to recalibrate, then scaled back up on clean numbers. Most people would have kept spending on fake signal. That 2-week pause saved the entire scaling trajectory.

The Results

Why It Worked

Rolling Square wasn't a "just run better ads" situation. It was a full-stack problem — bad tracking, bad creative, bad website, bad remarketing. The solution had to be full-stack too.
By fixing attribution first, every decision after that was grounded in reality. By fixing the website second, every visitor from ads was more likely to convert. By fixing creative third, we sent more of the right visitors. It's a compounding system — each fix multiplied the impact of every other fix.
The pixel over-reporting catch in Month 4 is the kind of thing that separates operators from dashboard watchers. If I hadn't caught it, we'd have scaled into a data mirage and the whole thing would have collapsed by Month 5.
