The All-in-One Lifestyle & Finance Super-App
Orcade is a multi-service "Super-App" designed to simplify daily life for urban users. The platform integrates digital banking, ride-sharing, and e-commerce into a single, intuitive interface. The goal was to reduce "app fatigue" by creating a unified experience where users can manage their finances and book services without switching between multiple platforms.
🔍 The Challenge
The primary challenge of a Super-App is information density. With so many different services (Finance, Transport, Food, Shopping), the UI can easily become cluttered. I needed to design a navigation system and homepage architecture that felt lightweight yet powerful enough to house a complex ecosystem of features.
🎨 Key Design Solutions
1. The "Quick Action" Ecosystem
To handle multiple service verticals, I implemented a horizontal-scroll "Quick Actions" bar at the top of the home screen.
The Logic: This allows for infinite scalability. As Orcade adds more services (e.g., Pharmacy or Bill Pay), they can be added to this row without breaking the core layout.
2. Financial Trust & Transparency
The "Total Balance" card is the centerpiece of the home UI.
User Centricity: I used a high-contrast white card against the brand-green header to make financial data instantly readable. By including a "Rewards" micro-copy ("The higher your balance, the more cash rewards you earn"), I incentivized user retention and wallet top-ups.
3. Contextual Transportation UI
For the ride-hailing segment, I moved away from a text-heavy list to a map-integrated bottom sheet.
Design Decision: Using card-based "Saved Places" (Home, Work, Hospital) at the bottom allows for one-handed operation, which is critical for users on the move.
🛠️ UX Highlights
Personalization: The "Voucher" section uses high-visibility tags (5% OFF) to drive conversion through personalized discounts.
Bottom Navigation: A 5-tab persistent menu (Home, Activity, Finance, Messages, Account) ensures the user is never more than one tap away from their most important data.
