What I Did

"The Lost Princess of Oz" undergoes a transformative redesign, breathing new life into L. Frank Baum's timeless tale. Drawing inspiration from the original illustrations, the artwork is reimagined in a more minimalist and accessible style, striking a delicate balance between nostalgia and contemporary appeal. Each illustration, meticulously redrawn with a simplistic yet enchanting aesthetic, serves as a visual invitation into the whimsical world of Oz.

At the heart of the redesign is a concerted effort to capture the essence of the narrative—a captivating blend of magic, adventure, and imagination. The cover, in particular, serves as a vibrant gateway to this fantastical realm, enticing readers with its playful charm and evocative imagery. Designed to pique curiosity and ignite the imagination, it beckons readers to embark on a journey of discovery, where the unexpected awaits at every turn.

Beyond aesthetics, careful attention is paid to the layout and typography of the interior pages. Large margins and a simple, legible font are employed to enhance readability and ensure a seamless reading experience. Each page is thoughtfully crafted to complement the narrative, allowing the story to take center stage while providing ample space for readers to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Oz.
