BisViews is a web platform that helps people discover trustworthy businesses and share authentic reviews in Nigeria and other African markets. For businesses, it’s a digital reputation system helping them gain visibility, collect feedback, and build credibility in one place.
In African markets, trust is fragile. Scams, fake business pages, and unreliable social media reviews make it hard for customers to know which businesses are real — and equally hard for good businesses to prove their credibility.
Problems we discovered:
No central platform for verified local business reviews.
Business owners can’t manage feedback effectively.
Customers rely on comments or DMs instead of structured reviews.
👉 Goal: Build a trustworthy, localized, and easy-to-use review ecosystem that connects customers and businesses transparently.
03. Research Process
User Interviews
We spoke with:
10+ business owners (vendors, consultants, service providers)
72% of SMEs have never collected structured feedback.
68% said social media reviews felt unreliable or fake.
Competitor Analysis
We analyzed Trustpilot, SiteJabber, and Google Reviews none localized for African users or available in Pidgin.
