TodayHero: Conversion Landing Page

The Brief

TodayHero is a web agency that builds websites and AI automation for small businesses. The landing page needed to convert business owners who know their website is costing them money but have not acted on it yet.

Design Decisions

Dark theme with cream typography. The target audience is overwhelmed business owners, not designers. Dark backgrounds reduce visual noise and make the cream-colored headlines feel like a spotlight on the value proposition. The contrast ratio exceeds WCAG AA standards.
Eclipse motif as the hero anchor. An animated eclipse draws the eye to center-page without competing with the headline. It reinforces the brand idea of revealing hidden revenue and loads as a lightweight CSS animation rather than video, keeping LCP fast.
Dual CTA hierarchy. The primary CTA ("Find your lost revenue") is a high-contrast pill button. The secondary ("See how it works") uses a text link with an arrow. Decisive visitors get a direct path; explorers stay engaged.
Problem cards in a 3-column grid. Below the fold, three cards name the visitor's exact pain points: "Your website undersells you," "Leads slip through the cracks," "Busywork eats your margin." Each validates a problem before presenting the solution, which is a conversion pattern that outperforms feature-first layouts.
Uppercase letter-spaced subheadings. "FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS / WHO SHOULD BE MAKING MORE / BUT CAN'T SEE THE SOLUTION" runs down the right side of the hero in monospaced, all-caps type. This secondary reading path targets scanners and reinforces audience specificity.
Responsive layout. Fully responsive from 375px mobile through desktop. The 3-column problem grid stacks to single-column on mobile. The hero CTA pair stacks vertically with the primary action on top.

Technical Stack

Next.js (App Router) on Vercel with Tailwind CSS v4. Zero external dependencies on the landing page. Static generation for sub-second page loads.
