Logo Design for NewsLabs

A comprehensive brand identity project for NewsLabs, an innovative platform delivering AI-powered, real-time news summaries. The goal was to design a logo that is modern, trustworthy, and instantly recognizable, while visually communicating a blend of traditional news and cutting-edge technology.

We collaborated with the NewsLabs team to craft a complete digital ecosystem, including brand identity, a responsive marketing website, and the core product design for their AI-driven news platform and native mobile application.

We started with a simple idea: the folded page of a newspaper—a timeless symbol of news. Using a single rectangular module, we shaped and repeated it three times to form the letters “N” and “L”.

The curves suggest page turns and information flow, echoing the platform’s real-time updates. A warm gradient of coral-to-orange brings energy, optimism, and a sense of urgency—qualities essential to a live news environment. The subtle texture within the forms reflects the tactile feel of printed news, blending the old and the new.

The modular shapes allow for:

Responsive logo versions (symbol-only, horizontal, stacked).

Motion design applications—animated page folds revealing “N” and “L”.

Pattern creation for backgrounds, social assets, and app UI elements.
