Prototyping the Future of Corporate Card Management

The Ask

Netswitch.ai, an early-stage fintech venture, was building a corporate card platform to rival industry leaders like Ramp and Brex. They needed a clean, compliant, and customer-friendly interface—but lacked internal UX design expertise. With only rough slides from the project lead and a nascent product vision, they brought me in to transform ideas into a functioning design prototype and design system.

My Role

Operating as a hybrid UX designer, product strategist, and front-end architect, I led the end-to-end design process for Netswitch.ai’s onboarding flow and dashboard experience:
Mapped Out the Full KYC + KYB Onboarding Journey. Drawing on prior experience with regulatory frameworks and fintech compliance, I researched Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) requirements—building out a 10–12 screen onboarding flow in Figma. The flow captured business and personal identity verification, tax ID, address, and ownership data in a clear and logical interface.
Reverse-Engineered Best-in-Class Competitors. I signed up for Ramp and other platforms to audit their flows—documenting UX patterns, friction points, and legal prompts—then used these insights to architect a more intuitive experience for Netswitch’s product.
Transformed Raw Stakeholder Slides into a Clean Webflow Prototype. Netswitch’s product manager, Ramakrishnan, had created a dense 60-slide deck outlining intended features. Using these rough concepts as a base, I rebuilt the interface using Webflow, transforming abstract ideas into a live, clickable prototype hosted at netswitch.webflow.io.
Built a Design System from Scratch. Before jumping into mockups, I created a robust component-based design system, referencing Material Design principles. Every component was linked to the corresponding material spec for engineering clarity.
Accelerated Engineering Handoff. Instead of handing off static screens, I exported production-ready HTML, CSS, and JavaScript directly from Webflow—drastically cutting down developer lead time and aligning final design with frontend output.
Remote & Asynchronous Collaboration. Managed all design documentation, roadmap updates.
