Overview
CyberGrills is a mobile app for controlling a smart grill and connected accessories. It brings together grill controls, cooking presets, recipes, and real-time temperature monitoring into a simple, guided cooking experience.
The goal was to create a guided cooking experience that simplifies grilling, reduces manual configuration, and helps users cook with confidence from setup to serving.
The Challenge
Many grill controllers prioritize device controls over the cooking experience.
The challenge was to design an experience that combines:
Grill controls;
Live temperature monitoring;
Cooking presets;
Recipes;
Guided cooking flows.
The interface needed to support both experienced grill users who prefer manual control and beginners who rely on step-by-step guidance.

Simplify grill setup before cooking.
Reduce cognitive load during cooking.
Guide users through the entire cooking process.
Make automatic cooking modes easy to understand.
Create a scalable interface for multiple connected devices.
