Packaging for KUURACORP tea

This season I was privileged to make a design for KUURACORP.​​​​​​​ raw puer tea wrapper called "Unison" . 

As a huge tea enjoyer I had in mind something exquisite and decadent. 

My inspiration was Japanese art of Suminagashi (墨流し), the album cover of Joy Division's  'Unknown Pleasures' and oscilograph. 

While I was researching, I found a quote that described everything I wanted to convey: 

'The technology strives to look naturalistic and organic. It appears very abstract in its purest, clear forms. It looks so streamlined and elegant, but it feels almost conceptual in its nature. Pure geometric forms graciously propel through space in almost complete silence. The lack of signsand complete smoothness of the surface signify a departure from any visibility of mechanics, signifying a refined visual of completely concealed dynamics.'
