Copy Editor for Kirkus Reviews magazine

I spent over eleven years copy editing for Kirkus Reviews magazine. Every two weeks I proofread the pdf of the complete magazine, looking for typos, formatting issues, and places where the reviews and cover images did not match. In between, I worked with the editors of each section of the magazine—Fiction, Nonfiction, Children's, YA, and Indie—and copy edited batches of reviews and feature articles for spelling, grammar, punctuation, consistency, word choice, and clarity.
