In the dynamic realm of e-commerce, delivering an exceptional user experience is crucial. SouqT2, a forward-thinking platform, recognized the need to modernize its digital interfaces to better serve its clientele and internal teams. They entrusted me with the mission to revamp their product experiences, emphasizing a mobile-first approach and comprehensive dashboard designs.
🎯 The Challenge
SouqT2’s existing digital platforms faced several challenges:
Outdated User Interface: The design lacked modern aesthetics, intuitive navigation and Clear labels & descriptions, leading to suboptimal user engagement.
Limited Mobile Responsiveness: With a growing number of users accessing the platform via mobile devices, the absence of a mobile-optimized interface hindered user satisfaction.
Inefficient Admin Dashboard: Internal teams grappled with an admin interface that was not user-friendly, impacting productivity and operational efficiency.

As the lead UX/UI designer, my objective was to holistically transform SouqT2’s digital presence. My approach encompassed:
User-Centric Research: Conducted in-depth analyses to understand user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
Mobile-First Design Strategy: Prioritized mobile responsiveness to cater to the increasing mobile user base.
Dashboard Redesign: Developed intuitive and efficient dashboards for both users and internal administrators.
Component Creation and Documentation: Designed reusable components and documented task flows, information architectures, and user journey maps to ensure consistency and scalability.
Collaborative Engagement: Worked closely with internal teams, designers, and managers to align design objectives with business goals.
Prototyping and Interaction Design: Created prototypes and interactive elements to test ideas, flows, and visions, including storyboards to visualize user journeys.

I am always on the quest for “better.” Looking back now, I am confident I can improve my initial solution even further. That is the next benchmark and target.
