1. Project Overview
Intrepid-X Mission Solutions (IXMS) is a specialist consultancy to the UK government. They exist to help ensure that the UK has best in class national security and defence.
IXMS wanted a sleek, professional website that reflects its private-sector agility while communicating authority and expertise in the defence and national security sectors. This digital presence would serve as a critical touchpoint for government clients, industry partners, suppliers, and investors, showcasing IXMS's innovative solutions and fostering collaboration.
IXMS was just launching so they had little content available for the website. In the first instance they wanted a simple site that is easy to navigate, it would serve as a platform from which to grow.
2. Objectives
Position IXMS as a Modern, Innovative Leader: Establish credibility through a design and tone aligned with a forward-thinking private-sector accelerator.
Showcase Expertise: Highlight IXMS’s services, and later success stories, and impact.
Encourage Interaction: Offer clear pathways for stakeholders to learn about IXMS and initiate engagement.

Tone and Style:
Sleek, professional, and innovative, evoking the private-sector agility of a modern consultancy.
Minimalistic yet bold, with an emphasis on clean lines, professional typography, and subtle animations for a polished experience.
Branding:
Custom colour palette should match the monotone greys of existing branding.
Consistent logo and typography integration across the site.
Imagery:
Clean line graphics for a modern look and feel.
Avoid imagery that feels overly governmental. Light use of stock imagery (transformed) until IXMS has it's own photos.
Responsive Design:
Fully optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Accessibility:
WCAG 2.1 compliance to ensure inclusivity.
