CoinTracker Web App and iOS App

CoinTracker was founded in 2017 to become the leading accounting solution for crypto users. Since then, they’ve launched at Y Combinator, raised a $100M Series A and surpassed the 2 million customers mark. Set to express their mission and position in the ever-evolving crypto industry, CoinTracker approached Bakken & Bæck to elevate its brand and to hire me to be part of their team as an integrated agency product designer.

Following a thorough strategy phase, we helped them design a new visual identity, build a new website, and develop an industry-leading B2B digital asset accounting product, CoinTracker Enterprise.

The recording below demonstrates a walk-through of all the pages I redesigned with our new brand assets. I defined the layout, type, icon, and colour from page to button level. I was restricted to only making surface level UI changes due to our short timelines. Any functionality changes that would constitute improvements of the UX had to wait until after tax season - the period during which we generate 80% of our revenue.
