Introduction
The 2 notebooks I worked on this set is made using oil pastel drawings I made and then scanned to create a pattern in Photoshop. I created these notebooks for stationery lovers and people that appreciates flowers. The catalyst of this project was a course that I took encouraging me to create something that's lacking in my personal world.
Highlights of This Project
One of the most fun parts of this process was the image creating process. Why? Because it made me completely immersed in the drawing that time went past so quickly that my the time I lifted my head it was already dinner time. 😅
Another part of the process that I enjoyed was Trial & Error stage. After scanning the image, I was hit by a wall. Why doesn't it look good? It looks a bit off... It looks too generic... After what seemed like hours of trial and error, an idea hit me. I put my flowers in a specific arrangement, and it clicked (a design from William Morris popped into my mind).
