I built a bespoke gallery site for a local painter here in British Columbia. The site is home to the catalog of her work that is for purchase. The site is simple, lightweight and lets the art do the talking.

It's fully responsive, creating a beautiful online gallery experience no matter which device you are viewing it on.

The art is categorized into the subject matter Pat loves painting. Selectable options are purposely bigger for easy navigation – Pat and her husband Terry are in their 80s and use iPads as their daily drivers. Making the site easy to navigate for older eyes was key.

Paintings can be viewed with all of their information (tidily organized thanks to Framer's intuitive CMS interface). They can be clicked to be viewed full-screen. The header for the item pages is smaller and tucked out of the way. Information on availability change on the page based on the sold-state of the CMS item.
